As of September 2011, Stambourne farm has been sold to a new family.
For the past thirteen years this beautiful property has been our home. It has allowed us to raise our six children in a unique manner, and provided all of them with endless amounts of fun, as well as lots of healthy outdoor employment caring for the grounds and walking dogs.
However, a property of this size requires energy. As our young family matured and left home one by one, we realized the time had come to move on.
To those of you who visited our mill for a special occasion, attended yoga classes and workshops, participated in fencing, or entrusted us with the care of your dog, we thank you.
Ingrid Vanderschot and Paul Battler, with their six children, have taken over the farm and kennel and intend to carry on with activities in the Mill and dog boarding. We hope you will welcome them with the same friendliness and enthusiasm with which you welcomed us.
Thank you all.
Joanne, Lynette, Fred and family
